Description
This would be a STUNNING framer! Very nice 3rd state Beatles BUTCHER cover amazing peel job! Vinyl a conservative VG+ with full luster! Bonus John Lennon and Yoko Ono Two Virgins! This is EXACTLY the condition of the butcher cover: Let's face it; this is a nice peel job. The gentleman I bought this from said he remembered peeling it off when he was a kid and how it came right off with little difficulty. I actually thought I had a FIRST state on my hands because it is such a nice peel job. Back in the day, some of them came off easier than others and this was apparently one of the copies that the pasted cover came right off with very little effort. The cover has serious splitting issues along the seam FRONT TOP and BOTTOM. The problem was remedied a long time ago with yellow masking tape, most of which has peeled off and resulted in a faint yellowish mask tape residue all along the front, top and bottom of front and back. It is about 1/4 inches wide and done evenly. It doesn't impact the aesthetics too bad, I just want you to know exactly what you are bidding on. Please zoom in on photos to see exactly what I am talking about. The only real damage done during the peel is a slight tear right by the capitol logo. (see photo). To SWEETEN the deal, I am throwing in SUPERRARE NEAR MINT John Lennon's Two Virgins with the ORIGINAL NAKED cover. Comes with the ORIGINAL CENSORING BAG that has a 2 inch tear in the front. See photo. Back of bag is fine. Cover/EXCELLENT Vinyl/EXCELLENT! I like this historic recording of John and Yoko falling in love and messing around with instruments in John's apartment where he recorded it! NO SERIOUS BEATLES COLLECTION IS COMPLETE WITHOUT THESE TWO VERY RARE RECORDS! HAPPY BIDDING!
