Description
This is an original stereo copy from 1965. This was the first Beatles LP in Canada to be issued in stereo. It was pressed in Smiths Falls, Ontario by RCA using stampers sent from Scranton PA. There are no brackets around the word CANADA in the perimeter print on either side, making this a genuine pre-06/66 pressing. Very few stereo copies of this LP were purchased in stores initially. Mono copies of this album would have outsold stereo by at least a 10:1 margin. The inner sleeve and cover are correct. The jacket has the "also available in regular monophonic" wording under the FDS logo on the back, which was removed from later copies.
Please check photos, this is the actual auction item.
