Picked up this gem in Japan. I have not seen any of these in the USA or anywhere else, so it may be a promo to assess the Japanese market's demand for high resolution surround sound. Or it could be a test mix to follow up on the success of the Sgt Pepper Surround Sound release last year. Not sure how rare these are, so bidding started at cost to let buyers decide what they're worth.
This Blu-Ray disk has DTS HD Master Audio (Blu-Ray Audio) for A Hard Day's Night in 24-96 hi res, 5.1 surround sound. It's Hi Resolution AUDIO ONLY, it is NOT a movie. You need a Blu-Ray player to play this, it will not play on a DVD or CD player. This Blu-Ray will play in all countries (it is "region free").

The beauty of the Beatles' harmonies, and the genius of George Martin's production, really shine through in surround sound. Things that were previously "buried in the mix" become amazingly clear. "If I Fell" and "A Hard Day's night are incredible in surround sound.
Where you thought there was one guitar, there are 2 or 3 guitars. Where you thought there was one voice, there are a few voices. Like the layers of an onion, there is more complexity to these tracks than most of us ever realized.
