Beatles Blue Box Vinyl LP BC13 Collection - WAS SEALED (EXC)
This Blue Box Vinyl LP BC13 Collection WAS SEALED.  All of the vinyl is absolutely MINT and UNPLAYED.  I was the person that opened the shrink wrap.  I left the shrink wrap still on the blue box as you can see in the photos - it even has the original price tag!!!.  I am including a photo of the box still sealed prior to my opening of the shrink wrap.  I did not play any of these albums after unsealing and inspecting the albums.
For Beatle collectors, this set is still the best Beatles STEREO box set, and is considered absolutely superior to the 2009 remastered vinyl box set.  This box is the 1980's U.K. import version - not the U.S. edition with Ltd Ed number.  Based on the inner sleeves in the set, we believe this specimen to have been produced/pressed in 1985.
See pictures for condition.  This example is absolutely gorgeous!!! The vinyl itself is unplayed.  ALL INSERTS are in the packaged (Sgt. Pepper cutouts, and White Album glossies and poster.  The White Album poster has NEVER been unfolded).  The blue album listing sheet is in there too!  The box is clean & fully intact (with the shrink wrap still intact around the box) with no tears or damage to the front hinge.
This set contains the following albums (and stamper numbers): 'Please, Please Me' - XEX 421-3/422-2N* 'With The Beatles' - XEX 447-8/448-8 'A Hard Day's Night' - XEX 481-3N*/482-3N* 'Beatles For Sale' - XEX 503-5/506-3N* 'Help!' - XEX 549-3/550-2* 'Rubber Soul' - XEX 579-6/580-5* 'Revolver' - XEX 605-3/606-4 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' - XEX 637-1*/YEX 638-6-1-1-17 (side 2 plays in STEREO) 'The Beatles (White Album)' - XEX 709-2*/710-2*/711-4/712-2* 'Yellow Submarine' - XEX 715-1*/716-2 'Abbey Road' 'Let It Be' 'Rarities'
Bonus: 'A Collection Of Beatles Oldies'
As a bonus, we've included a 1980's pressing of A Collection of Beatles Oldies. This was not a part of the original collection and although a very nice example, is not MINT as all the rest of the albums are.
A fantastic way to kick start your Beatles vinyl collection with the most sought after stereo boxed set produced of the Beatles albums.  Well cared for in a smoke free home.  This collection is gorgeous!!!!!
This item comes from the collection of a high end long time Beatle's collector.  Don't let this one pass!!!  They don't come up in this condition often on eBay.
All vinyl will be removed from the outer sleeves and wrapped separately for shipping so as to not damage the covers during shipment.
Thanks for looking :)   Please take a look at my other Beatles auctions!
-------------------------------------- GENERAL INFORMATION ON THIS BOXED SET:
rarebeatles.com and other sources:      THE BEATLES COLLECTION (Originally Released December 1978 - EMI/Parlophone BC 13)
In the first week of November 1978, EMI Records announced plans for a "Beatles Gift Box" to be issued simultaneously in England and America. The package would consist of the Beatles' original twelve British studio albums plus an additional record, Beatles Rarities, of selected tracks, many of which had never been issued on any U.K. LP before.    The LPs were encased in a blue, textured cardboard box with a fold-open top.   The set's title and facsimiles of the Beatles autographs were embossed on the front of the box in gold lettering.
All albums were pressed on their original labels (EMI/Parlophone or Apple) and with their original catalog numbers. All records were packaged in their original covers and with their original enclosures (Sgt. Pepper's cut-out sheet, The Beatles four glossies and one poster.)
Albums: 1 - Please Please Me  2 - With The Beatles  3 - A Hard Day's Night  4 - Beatles For Sale  5 - Help!  6 - Rubber Soul  7 - Revolver  8 - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band  9 - The Beatles (White Album) 10 - Yellow Submarine 11 - Abbey Road 12 - Let It Be 13 - Rarities
The British Rarities (Parlophone PSLP-261), consists of 17 tracks, including such obscure B-sides as The Inner Light and You Know My Name (Look Up The Number), along with the original version of Across The Universe and the first British release of Sie Liebt Dich and Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand (She Loves You and I Want To Hold Your Hand sung in German).  Rarities came in a royal blue sleeve made of a thicker cardboard than the US version, with the words "Sampler Record - Not For Sale" on the back. Except for 'Across The Universe', 'KGMDH', 'SLD' and 'Bad Boy'. ALL the tracks were intended to be the stereo mixes where they existed, but apparently major wires were crossed and mono mixes were used. For those in the UK, it was a VERY cheap way to get the b-sides and 'Long Tall Sally' ep tracks in mono.  The album "Rarities" has the print "Sampler Album Not For Sale" in the left above corner on the back.
