Description

Beatles - Box of Vision
Fantastic and complete condition which I hope is shown in the attached photographs.  It looks as though the box was bought and then stored away and never used.  It still contains the 'tracing paper' as shown.  It also comes in the original box.  A truly lovely example of this storage box and accompanying books.
Postage:-  This is a very heavy and large item.  I will only charge for the actual postage costs incurred.  If you bid and win I will immediately get a couple of quotes for postage.  I should imagine that this will be about £20 within the UK but considerably more further afield.
Box Of Vision is a sumptuous collection case for The Beatles' CDs (not included), with two extra books bringing to life the artwork from the original US and UK releases, officially licensed by Apple Corps Ltd.

Review below:-

I am a lifelong Beatles Freak and have a huge personal collection from the past 45 years or so. I am good friends with Perry Cox, the leading Beatles' expert on their U.S. released albums and author of many top-rated Beatle books over the past 30 years, and have a very good grip on collecting Beatles' records and memorabilia. Perry was kind enough to list me in his latest book as a contributor (way cool... and thanks again, Perry)!

I received this new "Box of Vision" package for a Christmas present, as it was #1 on my list this year, and it WAS DELIVERED. I love it and it is very professionally put together in all aspects. It starts out with the outer white box (custom made to accommodate the inner pieces). Inside, there is the large Box of Vision black box (with the "Meet The Beatles" classic photograph on the front). This photograph must have been taken from the original, as it is top quality and high resolution. The seams and inner spine of the box give the appearance of all the Beatles' albums stacked up (as if it were on your record shelf in chronological order). Cover is very thick material and spine has the Beatles' logo in silver foil. This outer box was made to last a long time, but needs to be carefully handled and appreciated - it is not a throw-around type booklet collection. Very cool touch and, from a distance, looks like the real albums sitting there.

Inside the Box of Vision outer black box, there are approximately 32 specific Beatles CD holders in plastic, with beautifully detailed graphics for each CD released over the years (and this includes CDs after their break-up, such as: Anthology 1-3, Red, Blue, Live at the BBC, #1 (One), Love, Let it Be (Naked), and a few others. Very cool concept for storing your personal catalogue of Beatles CDs! Extremely well pieced together too, as we have all come to expect with anything Beatles-related.

Along with the CD holders, this inner packaging (which, by the way, is carefully and painstakingly put together with bubble wrap and resealable mylar plastic bags to protect your investment) houses two beautifully constructed booklets. One booklet is a Beatles' Discography Catalogue (which lists all Beatles' original albums in chronological order with LP Cover and all song titles for each LP). You have the entire Beatles' catalogue at your fingertips with this booklet.

The second booklet, which is worth the price of the entire Box of Vision (in my opinion), is the Album Lithographs (actual LP size of 12" x 12" too) with high-quality paper and fantastic graphics - which appears to come from the LP photo proofs themselves! These are extremely well put together and chronological for both UK and US realeases and dates, with front cover artwork, back cover artwork, inner gatefold photographs, and all associated LP inserts and attachments (such as Magical Mystery Tour booklet - page by page - White Album photos and poster, etc.). This is the definitive collection of Beatles albums for the discriminating collector. Top notch all the way around!

Lastly, I am completely (and unsurprisingly) impressed with this beautiful Box of Vision set and highly recommend it to all Beatle fans, music enthusiasts, and generally for anyone who appreciates the finer things in music, period. The set weighs about 12 pounds, you get far more "bang for your buck" than the price tag reveals. Don't let anyone give you the impression that this is "high-priced" or too extreme for your budget... it is very affordable for everything included, and the detail involved in putting this together. This is a very Limited Edition set as well - as each one of these Box of Vision editions are individually serial numbered (out of 7200 total production). I believe they have started another production for Europe or the UK, but the U.S. version is serial numbered out of 7200 (attached on the inner back of the Black Box of Vision outer box). Get these while you can - you won't regret it and they will only appreciate in value over the years... especially with such a small production run!
