Summary:
’Christmas Time (Is Here Again)’, was The Beatles fifth Christmas record and was distributed FREE OF CHARGE in December 1967 to all existing members of the Official UK Beatles Fan Club.
The Original 7" Flexi Disc is on the Custom Cream Label with Red Print, together with the Fan Club logo and catalogue number LYN 1360. The Flexi Disc plays at 33 1/3rd rpm, and was recorded on Tuesday 28th November 1967 at the ABBEY ROAD Studios in St John’s Wood, London, this was the last Christmas Fan Club recording where all four Beatles were present in the studio together.
The 7” Flexi Disc and label are in stunningMint condition, the disc looks as pristine as it did back in 1967, no kinks, no creases, just perfect.
Stamped Matrix:
The official stamped matrix in the trail out groove of the flexi disc reads LYN 1360-1L.
The Flexi Disc is protected in its ORIGINAL card Picture Sleeve, with two fold over flip backs to the top and bottom edges of the reverse. The sleeve was designed by Julian Lennon, John Lennon and Ringo Starr, and is in day of issueMint condition, the sleeve is in this superb, preserved condition, because it has been stored inside the mailing envelope.
The double sided National Newsletter Christmas 1967 is also in Mint condition.
The original brown *Records Do Not Bend* Mailing Envelope is in very nice Excellent condition, there is no tearing to the envelope, just light signs of handling marks.
It would be very difficult to find a better example of this very rare Beatles Fan Club Flexi Disc, all complete with it’s news letter and mailing envelope in top condition, this one will never need to be upgraded, a beautiful example.
