Description
This auction is for a very rare original Beatles Open-End Interview Capitol EP Record Compact 33 (PRO 2548/2549) – their first Open-End Interview Record including the original sleeve.
This is one of the scarcer Beatles promotional items, especially in this condition, and a must-have for serious collectors.
Record Condition:
The vinyl is in NM- (Near Mint Minus) condition with only a few hairline marks visible under a bright light. The labels are very clean, showing minimal wear.
Sleeve Condition:
I would rate the sleeve as at least VG (Very Good), if not better. Aside from some minor chipping at the top (as shown in the photos), the sleeve is in very nice overall condition.

- No writing
- No stickers
It would be very difficult to find a better example of this rare Beatles Open-End Interview record and sleeve!
Provenance:
This record was previously owned by Jack Wagner, a Capitol Records employee who produced various records during his time at the label. I purchased this record, along with several other rare promo/interview records, directly from a close family member of Jack Wagner’s.
