Beatles Collection BC 13,1987 Blue Box 14 Album Set *Played Once* in Mint Shape

   This listing, The Beatles Collection Box Set BC 13 1C 19853 163-176, is Made in England by Parlophone. It consists of 14 Albums, along with inserts, photos and posters, and Everything is Complete and in Like New and Mint Condition.     I bought this Blue Box Set in 1988, carefully removed each album from its inner sleeve and jacket, and recorded them to audio cassette format. I carefully played each album Once for recording purposes. I put them back into the sleeves, the jackets, back into the box, and never took them out again, at least not until today, to take photos. Everything is Mint, including the Cut-Out Sheet in the Sgt. Pepper Album and the Four Individual Beatle Photographs and the Poster in The Beatles (The White Album). I did view the four photos and the cut-out sheet on that day. The poster has Never Been Unfolded.     This set includes all 13 of the Beatles Catalog Albums in the UK, plus one bonus album, Rarities. That album was created specifically for this box set. Magical Mystery Tour is not here because it was not considered "canon" by Parlophone at the time that this Blue Box was created in 1978; it was only a four song EP on Parlophone in the 1960's, not an actual LP Album in England until much later on Parlophone. I bought this particular box set brand new in 1988. I believe there were subsequent releases all the way up to 1995. I can be certain that this particular box set was manufactured, or assembled, by Parlophone no earlier than November of 1987, because each of the album's inner sleeves are dated from 12/86 to 11/87. The photos will detail the condition and show the dates of manufacture of this entire set. There are a couple of minor defects to see in the photos; one is some creasing and a small nick on one part of the inner sleeve on the With The Beatles album. The other consists of a darker stripe on both sides of the inner sleeve of the Yellow Submarine album, and also some darker patches. This discoloration was present upon opening the box back when I bought it in 1987. I am not sure if I was the one who creased the WTB inner sleeve, or if it was shipped to me that way. I was extremely careful with the way I handled this box set on the one occasion that I opened it, viewed it, and recorded it to audio cassette. This box set has been stored on a shelf in a dark, dry closet ever since the day that I finished the cassette recordings, until now.
