Description

     The Beatles    The Collection  1982  Limited edition of 25,000  14 Lp Box Set MFSL  Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master Recordings . Includes all The Parlophone  Albums as they were issued in England . I am the Original Owner I purchased this Box Set new . I have took very good care of it . These half speed master pressings were taken from the original Parlophone Masters . If you are not familiar with this process I recommend researching it a good source is Wikipedia . Basically when MFSL cut the new Master the cutting lathe tuns at half speed giving them more time to create a superior Master . The Records then are pressed  with this new Master on  heavy high quality virgin vinyl . These were pressed in Japan . The extra effort is worth it . It produces A Record with far superior audio . These records sound incredible  . The quality packaging is equal to the records produced . Each record comes in it's own White cover with a photo of the master tape printed on it . with a inner gate fold cover and a rice paper sleeve . This inner gate fold sleeve allows you to place the record in the rice paper sleeve then you open the gate fold inner cover put the record in it close it and slide back into cover . This takes away any possibility of damaging record while putting it back in cover .   Box set comes with 14 record Albums in white Covers .  A  12" X 12"  38 page color booklet featuring all the art work from the original Parlophone Album covers . A Geo Disc alignment tool ,  A Certificate of limited warranty  .  These records where played 1 time and recorded onto Reel to Reel tapes . The records are near mint . The Box shows typical shelf ware Brass hinges and clasp tarnished . The back side of the Box has some ware . I took close ups of troubled areas  .  See and Magnify all photos  .  .
