Description

The surfaces of the vinyl are not the best but the record is nonetheless in great playing order all the way through with no background noise that I could detect. Had I known nothing about the Beatles I would have assumed that P.S. I Love You was the "A"-side; I guess that someone involved, perhaps Brian Epstein, was intuitive enough to know that a raw sound was what was needed to promote the Mersey Beat up to then an unknown quantity. The record came with a clean and tidy MCA sleeve, but I have added a Parlophone one from another record, albeit one which is a little tired.
