Description
For sale is a rare copy of the Beatles second christmas record entitled Another Beatles Christmas record which was released in 1964 by Lyntone recordings. This record is a flexi disc and was not on general sale and was only given to members of the beatles fan club. As a result there were never as many produced and undoubtedly due to their flimsyness many have been made unplayable and as a result it is very rare to find one.
The record is in VG condition. the vinyl is very clean and has some very light minor marks and as the last picture has tried to show there are a few minor dinks where soneone has removed it from the cover and placed there finger on the vinyl. This is one from my private collection and i have played it several tiomes but on my player the stylus tends to stick and doesnt play very well without putting a ONE pence piece on the stylus. When doing this the record plays superbly with a lovely clarity with no background noise. I have many flexi discs and most of them do the same thing but with a little weight on the stylus to stop the vinyl from sliding the record always plays perfectly.
The label is EX+ condition. There is no wear or tear as the label is crisp and fairly clean. The centre whole is beautifully intact which shows this record has been cared for.
The record sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover is beautifuilly intact with very little sign or wear. There is some minor rubbing to the corners but the edges are crisp and clean. As the pictures show there are some small marks to the front and back but because on the front this is only at the top and on the back its on the flips this has very little effect but apart from that the cover is clean and an excellent addition to any collection.
