OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS, I WILL BE LISTING AN AMAZING RECORD COLLECTION OF NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN OFFERINGS FROM A VETERN RETIRED RECORD EXEC. THIS PERSON WAS ALSO A LIFELONG BEATLES COLLECTOR, AND WAS IN FACT ONE OF THE FIRST BEATLES FAN CLUB MEMBERS IN THE USA. THE CONDITION OF THE ITEMS IS STUNNING-CHECK BACK OFTEN!
This auction is for two Beatles Christmas records in NEAR MINT condition. They were put away years ago inside this unusual Capitol Records outer mailer. I have tried to research the use of the mailer with no luck. All I can think is that since he worked for Capitol, maybe they have them out to Capitol employees? It does say "Keep Away From Heat" on the mailer envelope, so maybe it was especially for mailing out samples of the flexi/postcard records. In any event, the records are near perfect with no scratches.
I am presenting this record exactly as I found it when I pulled it from a box where it has sat undisturbed for the past 40 years.
