A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

Vinyl: EX Lovely heavy vinyl. The vinyl just has a few light and hairline marks, retaining all is glory!

Very well looked after.
Labels: EX-. Lovely and clear. Quite a few spindle marks visible only when angled towards the light.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Only the smallest amount of hole wear-not really worth mentioning.
Lovely, clear silver text.
No writing...lovely condition.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO SEE THESE DELICATE COVERS IN SUCH WONDERFUL CONDITION??!!
Mono outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...There are just 3 tiny crescent spidering areas to the two sided laminate, with other very, VERY small finger spiderings emanating from the spine and bottom of the gatefold sleeve...VERY CRITICAL HERE!!
The spine is still clearly legible and still wonderfully strong-as are the inner flipbacks.
No Writing ANYWHERE!!

Inner: EX-. Poly-lined "Made In England" inner in great condition. It has certainly done it's job in keeping the record in tip top shape.

A note on grading: 'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened the record and kept it in fantastic dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!
