Description
This is an original 3 & 3/4 ips twin track mono reel-to-reel tape from 1964 (TA-PMC 1240) ‘Beatles For Sale’ - The Beatles’ fourth album. I have checked it on a reel-to-reel player and it plays as new. There are no snaps, repairs or stretches on the tape. The tape is on the original 4 inch EMITAPE reel, which is in excellent condition, with the original Emitape centre labels on both sides. The leader tape at both ends is clean, intact and full length.
The box lid, back and the tray which holds the tape in the box are in terrific condition - no tears, splits, writing or sellotape marks. All are completely intact. The tape still has the pink Emitape insert and there is even the original packing slip inside the box which tells the bearer 'In case of complaint this slip must be returned with the tape record' - I suspect however that may be out of warranty after 44 years! It's a nice addition though. This tape has clearly been well looked after and I can tell you that, without question, it is the best specimen of Beatles For Sale that has been through my hands.

SIDE ONE: No Reply; I'm A Loser; Baby's In Black; Rock And Roll Music; I'll Follow The Sun; Mr.Moonlight; and Kansas City.
SIDE TWO: Eight Days A Week; Words Of Love; Honey Don't; Every Little Thing; I Don't Want To Spoil The Party; What You're Doing; and Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby.
