Labels: EXCELLENT +
A very bright & clean set which bear some small spindle marks around each unworn centre hole
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine & unmarked playing surfaces which appear totally 'as new' in strong daylight with no visual blemishes or any kind. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only some harmless wispy, inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no other surface marks of any kind whatsoever. Both sides of this immaculate copy lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
A flawless sounding copy of this often overplayed LP where every track sounds fresh, clean & warm without any deterioration to the sound quality whatsoever. My careful play check at volume detected no traces of any groove/play wear to any part of any track and no traces of wear on or between any song. Very hard to find just a better sounding copy of this much maligned mono mix.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
This superb example has clearly been carefully and correctly stored in non-smoking conditions and its condition belies its 46 years. The delicate front left is perfectly flat & glossy with just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle to the left of George's collar but no other significant signs of wear. There is a tiny bruise to the lower right corner but all of the exposed thin edges are completely undamaged. The rear panel is glossy and unmarked with no evidence of a disc impression or indeed any other trace of wear. The inside of the gatefold is perfectly with no writing or missing paper and, most importantly, no damage to any part of the delicate central hinge. Both seams of the back pocket are smooth and unstressed and the spine is square, white & fully worded and still retains its factory 'pinched' ends. A hard one to upgrade.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with some unavoidable light storage wrinkles, but no splits, tears or writing.
