1964 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* LP
**NEAR MINT**
This NEAR MINT 1964 1st stereo pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
The labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, inner-flipback gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper numbers: 1,6/OD & 1,6/MR

Both surfaces are MINT viewed in natural light, displaying just a few faint paper hairlines when viewed directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Otherwise this is a pristine shop-fresh disc with absolutely no scuffs, marks or any scratches to either side.
100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Arguably the Beatles' best sounding stereo record, this copy has been barely played and the entire disc sounds 'as new'.
Both run-ins & all bands play in silence & there is no trace of background crackle or groovewear distortion on any track.
A good as you will find.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A very respectable example of this extremely fragile cover which retains its high-gloss laminate, bearing just two small creases to the front leaf.
There is some light wear to the upper edge but the other edges & all corners bear no major wear.
The rear panel is pristine with no wrinkles or creasing. The spine is clean & readable with just minor wear to the spine ends but no tears.
Inside is clean & black where it should be with no marks, writing or missing paper.
All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
