Description
Rare, limited mail order-only release from 1980 on World Records (catalogue number SM701-8).
Features eight unique albums charting their career from 1962 to 1970 including all their most well known songs and a great many classic album tracks and B sides. The box also features numerous hard to find alternate mixes, including
- All My Loving (untrimmed intro)
- And I Love Her (with extended ending)
- I Feel Fine (whispering intro)
- I'm Only Sleeping (US mix)
- Penny Lane (stereo mix with picollo ending)
- I Am The Walrus (with extended intro)
- The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill (with early fade out)
- Don't Pass Me By (with early fade out)
The box shows some minor signs of wear, including a couple of scuffed corners and some very minor scratches on the front but is rigid and in overall excellent condition. The tape used to hold the lid to the tray has come away at one end but this is easily repaired.
The eight albums are all in excellent condition. They have no scratches and play without jumps. The covers and inserts are all in mint condition.
