ORIGINAL 1965 UK FIRST ISSUE **STEREO** Vinyl LP for The Beatles ‘HELP!’ on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
Official side 1 stamped matrix is YEX 168-1/Side 2: YEX 169-1.
Side 1 stampers: 3/AM, Side 2: 2/RH.
An embossed ‘KT’ tax code is visible to the centre of the side 2 record label.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL Lined Use Emitex Lined Printed Inner Bag and is housed in its ORIGINAL Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse, three flipback, STEREO Sleeve printed with an outline ‘stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and the stereo catalogue number PCS 3071 to the reverse.
The album plays extremely well with NO skips or clicks.
Both record labels are in very nice excellent condition, BRIGHT, CLEAN, UNDAMAGED labels, showing only light spider trails when tilting around in the light. Both sides of the vinyl disc are in VERY RESPECTABLE excellent condition, BRIGHT Vinyl, showing some light surface hairlines, but NO deep scratches or deep scuffs. The Lined inner bag is RESPECTABLE, NO writing, showing a 2.5" seam split to one seam. The Garrod and Lofthouse First Issue Stereo Laminated Picture sleeve too is a RESPECTABLE example and in all round very good plus condition. The front of the sleeve is BRIGHT, CLEAN and FIRM, showing mild record indentation. When tilting the front of the sleeve around in the light, visible all over the front of the sleeve are many small indentation marks within the laminate. The reverse of the sleeve is again CLEAN and BRIGHT, showing light record indentation. All three flip backs are UNDAMAGED. The spine edge is UNDAMAGED and perfectly readable.
The album plays extremely well without any skips or clicks.
Overall a CLEAN, COMPLETE and RESPECTABLE example of this RARE Original UK STEREO Beatles album!
