In this auction: 

 

·       “TRAVELING WILBURYS VOLUME 3” by George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty & Jeff Lynne

·       This LP title was initially released by Wilbury Records on October 30, 1990 with catalog number 26324-1.

·       HOWEVER, the LP in this auction is Wilbury Records W1-26324 (the catalog number printed on the spine) which identifies it as COLUMBIA HOUSE RECORD CLUB PRESSING.

·       FURTHERMORE, “MANUFACTURED BY COLUMBIA HOUSE UNDER LICENSE” is printed at the bottom of the rear cover which additionally identifies this as a RECORD CLUB PRESSING.

·       It was issued in 1990.

·       NOTE: You had to be a member of the Columbia Record Club (Columbia House) to originally order and have this LP shipped to you! No one could walk into a record store in 1990 and buy this Record Club Pressing off the rack!

·       The Record Club Issue of this LP has become a tough pressing to find these days.

·       This “Traveling Wilburys Volume 3” LP was the second and final LP from the Traveling Wilburys.

·       “Traveling Wilburys Volume 1” LP was released in 1988, but there was NOT a Volume 2 produced.

·       The great Roy Orbison, often identified with his early hit “Pretty Woman” and one of the original Traveling Wilburys, died prior to the recording of this Volume 3 LP.

·       THIS LP (COVER, VINYL & CUSTOM INNER SLEEVE) IS MINT and STILL SEALED! There are a couple of very tiny corner pushes.

 

A GREAT HARD-TO-FIND COLUMBIA RECORD CLUB PRESSING of this Traveling Wilburys LP, AND in MINT STILL SEALED CONDITION, TOO!!! (It just doesn’t come any better than this!)
