Description

Many Beatles LP’s are auctioned … but few of the prized MONO series.  Here find the original US Beatles’ "Help!" LP in MONO:

“Help!”  (Capitol MAS-2386)     MONO

Black labels with rainbow colorband, which read "MFD by Capitol Records Inc" at label bottom.

Gatefold jacket.

This is an early Scranton PA Pressing Plant issue.

This LP features interesting instrumentals, harbingers of sounds later heard on their "Revolver" and "Sgt. Pepper's" albums.

 

Vinyl:  VG+   (play graded)

High gloss on wax.

Surface scratches/scuffs present but audible only between tracks and during a few quiet passages.  Excellent sound quality.

Labels are clean and bright.  

Spindle marks present but barely detectable.         (see photos) 

Jacket:  EX

Jacket is clean, with bright colors.  

Seams and spine is excellent condition.  

1/16 inch seam split in upper left corner.              (see photos)

 Includes original inner sleeve in fine condition.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
