THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
1968 UK *STEREO* PRESSING* LP
This barely played stereo pressing dates from 1968 and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KJT' purchase tax code (unique to 1968) is visible around the side 1 centre hole.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse ' printed outline stereo logo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper codes: 2/AG & 3/PD

A very clean & bright pair where the only sign of significant wear is around the side 1 centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surface are extremely clean & glossy, totally free from any fingernail scuffs or scratches in strong daylight and close & careful inspection directly beneath halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no other visible blemishes or wear. Both sides of this well-looked after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing, with no traces of dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This great sounding copy has received only some careful play on high-end equipment and is flawless throughout. My single careful play-check at volume detected no traces whatsoever of any groove or play wear on any track or in either channel. Both run-ins and all bands play entirely without interference and there are no clicks, pops, jumps or other audible distractions elsewhere.

EXCELLENT
An extremely clean and more importantly, white example which retains a bright, glossy front laminate bearing just a single 'thumbnails' wrinkle towards the opening edge and a few tiny ones to the spine. There is a small bruise to the lower right corner but all others are and both opening edges are clean & undamaged. The rear panel is perfectly clean and brilliant white with no discolouration, marks, writing of missing paper. All flipbacks fully clean & undamaged and both seams & the fully worded spine are unsplit.

Clean, crisp & white with just an inevitable light disc impression but certainly writing, tears or seam splits.
