THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'

UK 1969 *STEREO* PRESSING

This hard to find variant is the final incarnation of the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text & any tax/price code.

'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims around the perimeter of both.

Housed in the correct thin card, front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with an outline stereo logo.

Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1

(the same as the 1st pressing)

Stamper codes: 3/OM & 3/PL

Disc weight: 148g

Labels: EXCELLENT

Clean & bright with just a small collection of spindle trails to each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Both surfaces are pristine and unmarked on strong dalyight with no scuffs, marks or scratches to either side.
Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals just a sparkling rainbow gloss & a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but no other marks or wear.

Play: EXCELLENT +

This superb sounding copy has received just some careful play on excellent quality equipment only. My careful playcheck found no evidence of any groovewear or background noise anywhere.
Both run-ins and all bands play without intereference and there are no clicks, pops or any other such distractions througout the entire LP.

Cover

VERY GOOD

Some general handling & storagewear is present throughout but there are no major faults anywhere.

The rear panel has some discolouration & general wear to it but no writing or missing paper.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Crisp & clean with just slight toning but no writing, tears or splits.

Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp based on UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
