1969 UK 'ONE EMI BOX' *1st EXPORT* PRESSING
**NEAR MINT**
This is an impossibly rare 1969 UK 1st export pressing on the UK 'One EMI Box' label: P-CPCS 106
Both labels carry the 'Made in Gt. Britain' text but carry 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
This copy was 100% pressed in the UK.
House in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover, still within its original shrinkwrapping.
N.B: There is no 'gold' Parlophone sticker on the reverse.
Matrix numbers: YEEX 150-1 & YEEX 151-1
Stamper numbers: 2/GH & -/GL
Labels: NEAR MINT
There are just two small spindle trails to the side 1 label and 5 or 6 small ones to the side 2 label.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both sides are pristine, unmarked & totally 'as new' when viewed in strong daylight.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines, but absolutely no scuffs, marks or any scratches anywhere.
Audio: NEAR MINT
The sound is faultless & the sound quality outstanding throughout on this copy which has clearly only received a few careful plays on top quality equipment as .
All tracks play 'as new' without any trace of background noise, groovewear or indeed any other audible wear whatsoever.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently. There really is nothing to fault here at all.
Unlikely to surface again in this condition for a long time.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Protected by its shrinkwrapping, the cover retains its high gloss laminate with just a faint 'ripple' to the front panel due to the contracting shrinkwrapping.
There are two light creases near the opening edges on both panels, but the corners and opening edges themselves and all without major wear or damage.
The rear panel has some storagewear to the corners & uncovered opening edge but again, the wrapping has protected the shiny laminate and beneath, which is perfect.
The shrinkwrapping has some splitting along the front lower edge but all seams and the spine are all strong and totally undamaged.
Both discs have been carefully audibly graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
