Album Description:

This UK ORIGINAL First Issue of John Lennon's ICONIC Album 'Imagine' was released by APPLE Records UK on the 8th October 1971.

The Vinyl LP is on the Custom Apple picture label, with 'Mfd in UK' label text and comes in its Original First Issue Laminated Picture Sleeve, together with an Original double sided PRINTED Lyric Inner Bag, An Original Postcard sized Photograph, and Original Large 33” x 22” Poster with John Lennon sitting at the famous White Piano.

The Postcard is in Near Mint condition, the machine folded Poster is in Near Mint, No pinholes, or splitting to the folds, the correct Printed Made in Great Britain inner sleeve is Excellent, NO handwriting, NO seam splitting and NO tearing, just a little mild creasing.

Official Matrix and stamper information:

Side 1 matrix: YEX 865-1U/Side 2 matrix YEX 866-1U.

Side 1 stampers:3 OP, Side 2 stampers: 3 GGL. Correctly etched on the side 1 trail out groove is the word 'PORKY', and on side 2 etched into the run out groove is the word 'PECKO'.

Both sides of the record labels are in UNDAMAGED NEAR MINT condition.

Both sides of the Heavyweight Vinyl disc are in STUNNING NEAR MINT condition, both sides of the record look stunning, there are no scratches or scuffs, just a couple of light surface hairlines.

The Original UK first Issue fully laminated Picture Sleeve is a respectable example in Excellent Minus condition, a FIRM, GLOSSY undamaged sleeve,with record indentation to both sides, the pinched Spine edge, and clearly reads 'Imagine', 'John Lennon' 'Apple' 'PAS 10004', the sleeve also shows light manufacturing laminate pinches, all edges and corners are undamaged.
