Description

I am thinning out my vinyl collection and have listed several SOLO BEATLES 12-INCH PROMO RECORDS, so please check out all of my other auctions for something that interests you.

IN THIS AUCTION:

·       “ROCK AND ROLL PEOPLE” by John Lennon

·       This is Capitol Records SPRO-9917.

·       This record was issued in October, 1986.

·       This PROMO 12-INCH SINGLE RECORD was issued to promote the Capitol Records LP “MENLOVE AVENUE”. This LP is one of John Lennon’s more difficult-to-find LPs, as it did not sell well for Capitol.

·       The Labels of this PROMOTIONAL RECORD have “NOT FOR SALE” printed on them.

·       As you know, PROMO RECORDS are particularly hard-to-find these days, because they were ONLY released to radio stations/DJs for airplay to promote the LP and artists, and not released or sold to the general public.

·       The VINYL IS NEAR MINT!!!

·       The vinyl came in a Capitol Records stock die-cut poster-board cover which is included in NM Minus condition.

·       A NICE John Lennon PROMO RECORD to add to YOUR vinyl collection!

Thanks to Perry Cox’s Price Guide for the Beatles American Records for information about this LP.

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. And please check my other auctions for LPs you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several items and combine shipping on auctions ending the same day. Winning bidder must remit payment within 5 days of auction close by PayPal. Add $4.00 for shipping to a U.S. address via media mail with tracking.
