In this auction are 3 ORIGINAL John Lennon & Plastic Ono Band APPLE PICTURE SLEEVES & 45 RPM RECORDS in NICE CONDITION OVERALL. If you’re looking for some to complete a set or looking for some SOLO-Beatles sleeves to go with your Beatles picture sleeves, you’ve found them here.
Here are the details about the records in this auction:
Picture Sleeve & Record #1:
· “INSTANT KARMA!” by John Lennon b/w “WHO HAS SEEN THE WIND?” by Yoko Ono
· This is Apple Records 1818.
· This record was released January 27, 1970.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE is in NICE VG+ CONDITION. It has very light wear overall like some minimal light folds/ripples at the opening. This is a flat sleeve. It’s become very hard to find this primarily white sleeve without wear! There are NO seam splits, NO tears and NO writing. (Note how prominent Phil Spector’s name is printed on the sleeve as the producer!)
· The VINYL is NEAR MINT.
Picture Sleeve & Record #2:
· “GIVE PEACE A CHANCE” by John Lennon b/w “REMEMBER LOVE” by Yoko Ono
· This is Apple Records 1809.
· This record was released July 7, 1969.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE is in STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION. It has light overall wear and a tiny tear at the top center. There is a slight bend/fold at the lower right corner. There are NO seam splits and NO writing.
· The VINYL is in NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION with just a few very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs.
Picture Sleeve & Record #3:
· “MIND GAMES” b/w “MEAT CITY” by John Lennon
· This is Apple Records 1868.
· This record was released October 31, 1973.
· The PICTURE SLEEVE is in STRONG VG to WEAL VG+ CONDITION. It has very light overall wear and disc impression. There is a “hint” of ring wear on John’s forehead on both sides. (It’s tough to find this sleeve without that wear on his forehead.) It’s a primarily white sleeve tough to find in clean condition. The sleeve is quite flat with NO seam splits, NO tears and NO writing!
· The VINYL is in NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION.
