Grading Assessment:

Turning to the grading of the Box Set. Both sides of the Record labels are in excellent condition. The labels are clean and bright, showing just some centre spindle lines to both labels. Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in IMPRESSIVE excellent plus condition – all that is visible are just a few very light inaudible surface lines.

The fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse 1st Issue Sleeve is in excellent minus condition, glossy laminate showing some light wear to the edges and corners, some laminate pinching to the front and record indentation to the front and reverse. The spine edge clearly reads 'The Beatles' 'Let It Be', 'Apple Records', 'PCS 7096'. The Laminated Get Back Book is in excellent plus condition. Quite surprisingly there are NO loose, damaged or missing pages - the book binding is tight, this is unusual, as it is a common fault for the pages of this book to become detached from the spine binding. The Original Perforated cardboard support, with its correct rounded edges, supporting the Get Back Book is in RESPECTABLE and COMPLETE with no missing pieces. All that is visible is a little wear to the outer edges and sellotape repairs to two of the corners, and a small tear to one of the curved flaps. The OUTER Laminated Slip Case which protects the complete Set is in Overall RESPECTABLE excellent minus. The slip case remains Strong, showing some inevitable wear to the edges and corners, but NO tearing or handwriting.

Playing quality:

The album plays without any skips, jumps, or distortion with just some light background crackle evident. The albums sits 100% flat on the Turntable with No dishing or Warping.

One of the EARLIEST examples to have been issued to the BBC Television Library – Only the First time in stock, its rarity is not to be under estimated – RARE Beatles item!!
