Beatles LP "HELP" - Rare "MONO" Capitol Rainbow # MA S-2386 .
Issued in 1965. This is an INITIAL & ONLY PRESSING and does NOT credit Ken Thorne as the writer of the last track on each side, and does NOT list "You Can't Do That" as part of Track 4 on Side 2. No "Subsidiary" on rim makes this even more RARE and very scarce these days.
VINYL does have light surface marks and paper scuffs but, although NOT NM, still nice and very collectible and quite RARE especially in light of the fact that it was produced at a time when the STEREO version was predominant. If you don't have one of these in your collection, this would be an affordable addition and quite interesting to listen to. Even the BEATLES themselves had stated on many occasions, that the MONO recordings of their songs, were how they were intended to be listened to. Gate fold Outer Cover is in very nice condition - no splits, no writing (1 very small stain in lower left corner which can probably be removed by someone who knows what they are doing).
"MONO" VERSIONS OF THIS LP ARE BECOMING VERY TOUGH TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION!
A Great Piece to collect for any true BEATLES collector! The NEAR MINT value of this LP is now over $950.00, so this a real deal for someone looking for this LP. Not MINT (as we would never claim) but its still a very nice addition to anyone's collection!
