The Beatles –Help!– Genuine 1965 UK 1st STEREO pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label with ‘Sold in UK…’ label text, catalogue number PCS 3071. An original and early STEREO pressing most likely pressed ahead of the original release date of 6th August 1965.
Stunning 1st STEREO pressing which has only been played 3 or 4 times in its 53 year history. It also has superb unworn analogue sound throughout.
Possibly the most underated Beatles albums that there is. An absolute classic with tracks such as, Help!, You’ve Got to Hide You’re Love Away, I’ve Just Seen a Face and many more!
Happy bidding and good luck!
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1

CONDITION
Disc
Visual: Side one EXC+ to MINT- Side two MINT–
A stunning looking disc which has barely been played and appears almost mint when viewed under strong light. On closer examination nothing much more is revealed other than a small light handling mark on side one. Side two is near perfect and very difficult to fault visually other than some light whispy sleeve removal marks. Now extremely tough to find examples of 1st pressing stereos in this condition. The heavy duty disc lies 100% flat on the turntable.
Labels: EXC+ to MINT-
A superb set of clean fresh labels showing the record has been played only 3 or 4 times in its 53 year history. There is no writing or personlisation to either label. Side two carries the KT tax code.
Audio: MINT-
Superb unworn STEREO audio throughout. All gaps are silent with the exception of the gap between track 2 and 3 on side two where there is a small amount of static. When played at very high volume I detected two very light ticks on You’ve Got to Hide your Love Away and the same on Ticket to Ride other than this the audio is in MINT condition and is as good as it gets. The easily damaged track, Ticket to Ride and Dizzy Miss Lizzy play superbly as does Yesterday. An audiophile copy and a real pleasure to listen to.
Cover
EXCELLENT+
A superb and original 1st issue patents pending Garrod & Lofthouse STEREO cover dating to the original release date of August 6th 1965. The cover shows hardly any signs of wear. The front panel retains its original high gloss laminate sheen and is in near perfect condition. There are no thumbnail creases or bends to any part of the cover – front or back. The rear panel has minimal signs of ageing. All flipbacks are undamaged and intact. The spine is uncrushed. Severely graded at excellent+ and ultra rare in this condition.
Inner-sleeve EXCELLENT+
Original and correct Emitex rice paper inner with no seam spilts.
