Description
For auction, a Sensational Copy of the First Beatles LP, Titled Please Please Me. The MN Vinyl features the First Black Gold Parlophone Label, that was only used for the first few weeks this LP was pressed. This is an Original First Press Mono UK Pressing, with matrixes XEX 422 1N for both sides of the LP. The number 1 is stamped at the 9:00 PM position, and B is stamped at the 3:00 PM position for both side 1, and side 2 as well, indicating this was one of the first few presses of the LP. The vinyl is in remarkable NM condition, with no signs of being played. The vinyl still retains it's full shine. The record plays with amazing fidelity, and is quiet between passages. The cover has the large print Mono on the upper right, which was used for the early presses, and has Ernest J Day & Co. LTD London stamped in the lower right flap. The cover shows the typical wear on the corners, and grades at E condition. THIS 56 YEAR OLD, FIRST PRESS COPY, IS AS GOOD AS YOU CAN HOPE TO FIND. I am very experienced with LP's, and will ship this fragile record, well packed, in a 13 X 3 box, loaded with packing peanuts, so it will get to you safely.
