READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

I recently took in a large collection of Beatles albums, which range in condition from a nice VG to EX.  They feature labels from first pressing Capitol to Apple through to the purple Capitol label.  I tossed out all the garbage, and will be selling these copies interspersed with my regular inventory for anyone who would like to have great play-copies, but who generally can’t afford the rarer variations for sale.

The vinyl is collectable on these, although the covers may be a bit dirty, and/or split.  Here’s one that’s a great, solid play copy.

Beatles LP Revolver 1975 “All Rights” on Two Lines in Shrink LA, EX/VG!

Another short-lived “All Rights” run out of LA.  This variation shared just 3 months of press time with another LA variation, making them both very difficult to complete.  

Second-scarcest “All Rights” run from 1975.  (The hands-down rarest is the variation with the disclaimer on two lines at the bottoms of the Side 1 labels.)  This variation was so short-lived that it isn’t even the full run.  All of the great books point out that the “Hey Jude” LP is still not verified to exist.

I was surprised to find this copy among the records in this collection.  But I have my keeper, so this one will make a great filler AND play copy for some completist who still needs one for their collection.

Vinyl--- EX/VG.  Side 1 looks pretty new, with the exceptions of just a few manufacturer’s clouds and maybe a hairline or two.  Side 2 has a lot of very light angel hair scratches, absolutely nothing deep, though.  Both sides still shine with a lot of original gloss.

Remember, VG means “very good,” not “used for the annual hamster square dance.”

Plates--- A19/F20.  Rarer no “ST” prefix in the dead wax. Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy pressed in Los Angeles.

Cover--- EX.  Cover looks exceptionally nice. 

Revolver’s front covers can be very susceptible to heavy dirtwear, but this one has none.  Back covers can be very susceptible to heavy ringwear.  But this copy has just a little at the top and bottom.

All the seams are muscular-strong, but there is a little push-in on the bottom right corner.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

Breathe Holes--- There are two breathe holes on the front cover.  One is above Ringo’s eye, the other is above George’s.  There are two breathe holes on the back cover near the bottom.  You’ll see them when you get the LP.

Shrink wrap has split in a couple places.  Looks like the previous owner tried to tape a part back on.  Regardless, the shrink did its job, protecting the cover.

Labels--- EX/EX.  Both labels have light spindle marks.  Otherwise, they look brand new.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- VG+.  Generic white inner sleeve with die-cut hole for the labels to show is present.  Sleeve is moderately wrinkled, but NO SPLIT SEAMS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 17

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
