Beatles LP STEREO BUTCHER COVER PASTEOVER Yesterday…and Today LA

Urgent Note:  I’m very sorry, but as there are a few very rare items for sale this week, I will only ship them to winners in the U.S. and Canada! I have had too many winners in certain foreign countries refuse to pay for tracking and then claim to not have received some of the rarest items I’ve sold them, and eBay refunds them regardless.  Until there is an equitable way for this scam to be thwarted, I no longer sell rare records outside of North America.

Vinyl--- VG++.  Dangerously close to NM!  Extremely well-cared for piece of vinyl.  Side 1 has some extremely light hairlines that are very short, and very hard to detect under a bare bulb.  Asterisk from LA is present in the dead waxes on each side.

Plates--- A17/A17.  First-run plates for sure.  This is a genuine first pressing LP, as is the cover, of course.

Cover--- Structurally very strong.  All seams show either signs of light shelfwear, or crackling slick.  Spine has a small split at the bottom, less than half an inch.  Front slick was applied slightly off-center.  See photos.  Ringo’s black V-neck is a lot more visible in person than in the photos.  (Very hard to capture, for some reason, but there it is!)  See photos.  Back cover has some small tears at the top.  Top corner of cover has a light crease, visible on each side.  Overall yellowed a little on both sides.  Some dirtwear.

Labels--- NM store stock brand new.  Not the first apparition of a ghost spindle mark.  Colors are bold as the day the labels were pressed.   Super sweet copy of this LP.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Yellow Capitol inner sleeve is present.  Has the deeper tab that West Coast sleeves had, rather than the longer gradual curved ones from the East Coast.  All seams are beginning to fray, but there are no splits.  A generic white sleeve will be provided for shipment of the LP, so as to not split the seams of your original inner sleeve.

RIAA: 5. Collectors will know immediately that the RIAA 5 covers are far more scarce than the usual West Coast 6.  And that goes for all titles in The Beatles catalogue of original pressings.

Also comes with a computer print-out of the letter of recall from June 14, 1966, just for the halibut.

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!

Shipping is $4.00 for Media Mail for up to 3 single or double albums, excluding boxed sets within the U.S.  $4.00 covers shipping for up to 5 singles within the U.S.  eBay doesn't allow discussions or requirements on protecting your orders during transit, so please ask.

Winners in Canada will be charged actual shipping to their locations, so please wait to be invoiced.  You will be quoted for the cheapest shipping to your country that the US post office can afford me.  Please let me know if you would prefer to pay for a faster means of shipping, but do NOT ask me to declare packages as gifts, or any other means of defrauding the postal services.  Much appreciated.

I ship on Mondays and Thursdays.  This means that immediate payments will be shipped out the following morning, and later payments must wait until the first available Monday or Thursday after payment is received.  Please pay within 7 days of the auction ending.  I do leave negative feedback for non-payers.

Money back guarantee if you're not happy with your purchase.

Try this again, third time's a charm.  I forgot to put in the description of the front cover that a previous owner has drawn little circles and shapes on all their faces.  Have a look.
