Description
A near mint example of this double LP gatefold album, digitally remastered from old 1962-65 BBC programme recordings, released by Apple in 1994. The cover has the missing legend concerning ‘Apple’ and other trademarks from the back and the erroneous ‘See booklet for details’ printed below the title on all four record labels. The jacket has the catalogue number 7243831796 19 printed and also bears an HMV Store barcode label with original price of £10.99. Each record matrix is stamped with the appropriate code (PCSP 726 A-01-1-1, B-01-1-1 and so on) and the record labels are numbered 8 31797 and 8 31798. All these things confirm this package as from the first issue and first pressings of the records, released in late 1994. The cover is in excellent condition, with no chips cracks, creases, etc., just normal shelf wear marks. The inner sleeves are near perfect, clean and uncreased with undamaged notched openings. The records have no visible fingerprints, scratches, warps or other blemishes. This album has been donated to the Faith, Hope & Charity shop, an outreach initiative of Hawkwell Baptist Church, Essex, and is being sold to raise funds for church projects.
