Not overstated in any way, this Quality INVESTMENT purchase needs to be seen to be believed, without hesitation one of the best **PRESERVED** examples of the Beatles 1962 UK Debut Single ‘Love Me Do’ to have ever come have into stock. We are totally AMAZED that it was issued 42 years ago! In our professional opinion, it would be extremely difficult to find a better example and this Rarity could NOT disappoint any collector, nor would it ever need to be upgraded!

With the Record labels and Vinyl Disc is STUNNING **near to mint** condition, we are very pleased to offer collectors a RARE opportunity to purchase The Beatles First 1962 UK Single 'Love Me Do'

Released in 1962, this Original UK RED Parlophone Label Vinyl 45 features 'The Parlophone Co Ltd'.... label rim, and 'Recording First Published 1962', and With 'Made in Gt Britain' printed on the label. The stamped matrix number in the trail out groove on Side 1 is 7XCE 17144-1N and the side 1 stampers are 'MPZT1','GH'. The Side 2 Matrix is 7XCE-17145-1N, and the side 2 stampers are 'MPZT1' 'GT'. (Please note that the 'ZT' tax code was the very first to have been issued between April 1962 and November 1962). The Vinyl 45 comes in its original and correct type Wavy Lined Parlophone Bag.

Now turning to the grading of this SUPER RARITY. Both sides of the Record Labels are in BEAUTIFUL near to mint condition – the record labels are just STUNNING, with no fading or deterioration to the colour or silver printed text. On very close inspection it is hard even to detect any wear to the centre hole – INCREDIBLE! Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are also in AWESOME **near to mint** condition - The Vinyl is GLEAMING - with that just pressed look – Quite Incredible! There are two very light wispy hairlines to side 2, but we are being extremely critical here, and these are only noticeable because the Vinyl surface is so STUNNING. The playing quality MATCHES THAT OF THE VISUAL Grading and both sides of the 45 play SUPERBLY - There are NO skips, NO jumps, NO distortion. The Original Parlophone Company sleeve is also graded in SUPER condition - and free from any hand writing, showing just a little light creasing, which can only be expected, and a very small ¼" split to the top corner seam, but again this is really minimal and does not detract from the overall IMPRESSIE condition of the sleeve.
