Description
Oldies OL 151 Beatles single "Love Me Do" b/w "P.S. I Love You" originally released in August 1964. Due to the lack of the Monarch Records ("MR" in a circle) or AudioMatrix stamps in the inner groove, this is likely a later 'counterfeit' manufactured later in the 1960s or in the 1970s. Normally I wouldn't sell a record like this, but due to it's condition, someone may want to frame it for display, but it is not really collectible due to the fact that it is not an authentic release. This copy is visually and play graded at Mint- (M-) using the Cox/Daniels "Price Guide For The Beatles American Records" grading standards (6th edition).
See my photos. The circled "R" (above the "45" in the logo) is crystal clear. It looks as though this single has only been played maybe a few times. The label for "P.S. I Love You" has a few minor defects (small white areas).
