1962 UK 3rd PRESSING BLACK LABEL 45
**EXCELLENT & RARE COPY**
This rare 1964 3rd pressing is on the UK black & silver Parlophone label: R 4949
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK.. texts & upper/lower case 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is embossed on the centre of the 'P.S. I Love You' label.
The 'MPZT' code is stamped in both run-outs.
Housed in an original 'Type 1' green Parlophone company sleeve.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper numbers: 1/RT & 1/RH

Visual: VERY GOOD
Played many times but not abused, the surfaces are clean, bearing an occaisional light scratch & some light paper hairlines.
There are no deep or 'feelable' marks on either side & both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS
Both sides play cleanly with a warm rich bass without any groovewear, crackle or any other significant deterioration to the sound.
Both run-ins play with just some normal light crackle but there no clicks, pops, jumps or repeats on either side.
Some light creasing & storagewear but no tears, writing or splits.
Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp.All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
