An Excellent copy of this historically significant single. This is the first single recorded and released by The Beatles. While it only reached number 17 on the British charts, this single opened the door on what were to become the most prolific, influential, and successful recording artists in popular music history.

The Vinyl

Side 1 is in Ex condition. The vinyl shows a couple of very light hairlines, but there are no scratches. It plays through with no jumping, skipping or popping. There is some minor crackle to the run-in and out, but nothing major, and certainly does not affect the playback of the song. 

Side 2 is in EX condition. Again, a couple of light hairlines, but no scratches. Again, some crackle to the run-in and out, but not significant. A really great copy of this important single.

The Labels

Both Red Parlophone labels are in Excellent+ condition. There is no writing, tearing, or fading. There are a few light spindle marks, but nothing significant. The spindle hole shows very little wear, quite remarkable given its age. Very nice examples of these labels.

The Sleeve

This record comes in its original Parlophone "Diamonds" sleeve, which is in Excellent condition, with no seam splits or tears. Some minor wrinkling and a few letters written in pencil on the top left corner. Still quite crisp. Very nice!!!

An EX example of this single, with EX+ labels and EX sleeve, no skips or jumps. You will not be disappointed.
