Issued by Parlophone/EMI UK in 1983, this OFFICIAL TWO Vinyl LP Set contains THIRTY SEVEN Liverpool Mersey Sound Beat artists from the 1960’s.
ALL 37 tracks are in MONO format and performed by the ORIGINAL ARTISTS, including two songs by THE BEATLES - ‘She Loves You’ and ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’, and featuring other 60’s Liverpool Merseybeat groups, including Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, The Pete Best Four, The Searchers, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Merseybeats, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Billy J Kramer and many more! There are also two other Lennon/McCartney compositions performed by Cilla Black and TheTrends.
The two Vinyl LP set is on the custom Black and Silver Parlophone Label. Both albums are in DAY OF RELEASE mint and UNPLAYED condition – AS NEW!

Both LPs are protected in a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Mersey Beat GATEFOLD Sleeve, featuring some great 60’s pictures on the front and an image of THE BEATLES on the reverse of the sleeve, together with the official Parlophone/EMI information printed on the sleeve. The gatefold sleeve is in PRISTINE mint condition – As NEW - you won’t see a better one!!
Note Aunt Mimi’s comment about John in the next scan – this statement is printed on the top of the front of the sleeve – how wrong could she have been!
If you are a follower of THE BEATLES and 1960’s Liverpool Merseybeat Sound, this 2 LP set has it all – its also in MINT condition (RARELY SEEN!) totally COMPLETE and most importantly an OFFICIAL UK PARLOPHONE/EMI release – not to be missed - its one we don’t often see in stock due to its very brief release over 20 years ago!
