 THE COVER: 

Guaranteed Authentic - Beautiful SCRANTON, PA  #3 Beatles Butcher Cover

The colors on this butcher are pure, sweet, and bold - really stunning - and would look fantastic framed with the autographs or one of the other bonus offerings.   As with all of our butchers, the pictures below allow you to see the incredible fine dot matrix texture of the original butcher slick that has been exposed.   Often times excessive glue residue from amatuer peels makes this detail hard to see and also dulls the color of the butcher giving  a yellowish cast to the overall color.  Look at the finite detail of that dot matrix printing!  The detail of the meat, the dolls, and the Beatles themselves is stunning.  These dot matrix lithos have a unique hue to them that makes a butcher cover look even more magical in person.

The peel was done by the master himself - Jim Hansen at Blue Jay Way Galleries - who is one of the world's leading butcher artists.  Jim is our exclusive butcher artist - we do not use anyone else!  All of our butchers are done in beautiful detail by him! 

The seams are in overall good physical shape.  There are just a couple of spots of contentious wear. The upper left corner of the front has some balding from rub wear, and the top seam has some paper chips on the edge.  Please see the close up pics of those spots that have been provided.  Frame this gorgeous butcher and you will not see these anomalies.  The bottom seam is in great condition with no splits or cracks.   The edges of the butcher slick are reasonably nice white and do a great job of showing off the prize we have revealed in this gorgeous blue-gray butcher slick. 

 All of the printing on the back of the cover is in fine condition.  There is NO WRITING ANYWHERE on this cover.  THERE IS ALSO NO TOUCH UP ANY WHERE ON THE BUTCHER SLICK! 

A peeled Yesterday and Today trunk cover is included. This slick did not come off entirely clean as the glue just wouldn't give it up on a couple of areas.  There is some browning effect of the slick as a result, but still very presentable. 

Please be aware that every butcher is like a diamond - rarely are two ever remotely alike in all the investment features they offer.   RARELY have we ever had a perfect butcher.  Each cover has its strengths and weaknesses.  I strive to keep the latter at a minimum.  I can tell you butchers of this quality are hard to come by!  This is an outstanding offering at no reserve!
