Pochette de protection d'origine :oui, portant la date de 77.
Edition allemande de 1977 avec les numéros de matrices se terminant par -1 et -3, désignant les pressages des éditions comportant toutes les pistes en VRAIE stéréo. (Les éditions antérieures ont les chansons de la face B en stéréo simulée).
Pochette en état VG+ dû à la tranche qui est un peu abîmée avec quelques lettres effacées. Disque en Excellent état (Ex), juste quelques marques très légères et superficielles. Le son n'est pas affecté.
Le son est d'une grande clarté, avec une belle présence des basses et bonne extension dans les aiguës. Super son ! Cette édition est connue pour ses qualités audiophiles.
Le disque est dépoussiéré avec une brosse anti-statique et rangé dans une nouvelle pochette doublée.

This LP is the 1977 issue of the German Magical Mystery Tour, first released in 1971 in Germany.
This issue with these matrix is the only MMT in TRUE stereo. The sound is incredible, sweet and rich with clear audio, killer bass and top end extention. I owne the original US on Capitol in fake stereo which sounds so bad and shrill compared to this German MMT.
Some information :
The first German 1971 MMT stereo issue with the -1/-1 matrix endings does not have all the songs in true stereo : songs of Side 2 are in simulated stereo.
ONLY -1/-3 matrix endings refer to releases with all the songs in true stereo.
In 1973, the side 2 was recut using the true stereo tapes (-1/-3 matrix endings) and released on the tunrtable Hörzu logo label.
Then came the cat.n° : 1C-062 issue on the light green Apple label in 1973 and 1C-072 in 1977 (this LP). The last issue released around 1981 was a recut and have different matrix.
1C-072 issues are generally regarded as being very consistent and having beautiful sonic qualities, particularly for Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour, Something New, Revolver, White Album.

Condition :

(Usually, these mid 1970's German covers are made with thin cardboard and are proned to wear.)
Cover :
The cover presents a good shape and noticeable shelfwear on the edges. Some very slight creases are presents on the edges resulting from a moderate handling. The spine shows more pronounced signs of wear with some tiny ink missings on the words « The Beatles », title and catalogue number. The upper corner of the spine has a little tear.
The colors of the front cover are sparkling with no sign of fading.
The back cover is clean and presents just a minimal yellowing resulting from the natural cardborad aging.
On the front cover, there is an original import sticker of EMI Pathe Marconi. This sticker came out on UK, US and German import releases from early 1970's.
I would grade the cover VG+ because the spine is just not in perfect condition. The cover shows no writing, no severe crease or tear, no ringwear.
Vinyle / record :
Under natural light, the vinyle has a great and nice sheen.
Under direct and strong light, the vinyle is in amazing condition, with just few very faint hairlines that do not affect the sound.
I would grade the vinyle Excellent (Ex).
Labels :
Labels are clean, with no writing. Few spindle marks. Excellent condition.
Inner sleeve :
The original poly-lined inner sleeve is clean with no writing and in Excellent condition.

The record will be dust using an anti-static record brush and then stored in a new and clean poly-lined inner sleeve. The original inner sleeve will be included.
The record will be removed from its cover and send in a record mailing packaging.

Mint : the record have never been played or might have been played just once. The vinyle is flawless or can show only one faint hairline that does not affect the listening. The vinyle is dead quiet with no surface noise. The cover is flawless, still intact, like brand new.
Near Mint (NM) : the record is nearly close to the condition of a new/Mint record. Under strong and direct light, the vinyle shows only 1 or 2 minimal hairlines or faint scuffs or very slight marks from paper inner-sleeve. These do not affect the listening experience. Occasional slight surface noise can be noticeable during quiet passages and between tracks.
The cover has no noticeable defect but can shows a slight sign of material aging (natural yellowing of paper).
Excellent (Ex) : the record keeps its nice sheen and can be nearly close to Near Mint but shows few noticeable hairlines or scuffs that don't affect the listening experience. Occasional slight surface noise can be noticeable during quiet passages and between tracks. The cover shows minimal signs of wear on the edges.
Very Good Plus (VG+) : shows noticeable hairlines AND scuffs or few marks/scratches that don't affect the listening experience. Surface noise becomes more noticeable but do not overpower the music. No groove wear. The cover shows more pronouced wear on the edges and corners or spine. Minimal handling creases, slight ringwear beginning.
Very Good (VG) : the record have at least one scratch that pops/clicks during each revolution or a lot of hairlines and scuffs. Surface noise is very noticeable and becomes obvious during louder passages. Or the record can have groove wear resulting sound distortion.
The cover can show tears, pronounced wear or ringwear, seam split.------------------------------------------------------
