Modern Jazz Quartet- "SPACE" Apple Records – SMAS-3360,
Here's a RARE One! Those who collect different Apple USA Pressings of Apple Artists albums know just how hard it is to find the variation with the "Capitol" logo in the perimeter print on the B side! Single-handedly it's the rarest variation by far! What's even more obscure and hard to find is that exact variation but with the Capitol logo airbrushed out of the perimeter print of the B side! This one is a TRUE RARITY! Only a handful of Apple albums have been found with the Airbrushed Logo....."Abbey Road", "James Taylor", "McCartney", "Live Peace In Toronto". Maybe a couple others, but they are uncommon and this one especially is VERY HARD TO FIND! Look at the close up photos I posted! You can see the "Subsidiary Of Capitol Records Inc" print to the bottom left of the perimeter as well as the "Capitol" logo! This is a Jacksonville pressing.
