In this auction:


  • “TWIST AND SHOUT” b/w “THERE’S A PLACE” by The Beatles

  • This is Tollie Records # 9001.

  • This Tollie Pressing has a VERY UNCOMMON LABEL VARIATION.

  • The LABELS are YELLOW with ALL PRINTING in PURPLE.

  • The labels have “tollie” and “RECORDS” in a purple box. The top of the box has an opening to the right of the “e” in “tollie”.

  • The catalog number is printed as “#9001”.

  • This record was issued in 1964.

  • It is really one of the tougher Tollie Records label variations to find!

  • The VINYL and LABELS are in BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT CONDITION. (Please Note: In the images it looks like a tear on the word “There’s” in the title “There’s A Place”. This is NOT a tear. It’s reflection from the flash of the camera.)

  • This record comes with a NICE FANTASY PICTURE SLEEVE that is also in NEAR MINT CONDITION.


This Tollie pressing with ALL PURPLE PRINTING and NEAR MINT VINYL can really be someone’s FINAL UPGRADE of this Beatles’ title.
