Presented here is a ORIGINAL (not a reproduction) 1966 Yesterday & Today LP (Capitol T 2553). This is a third
state Butcher Cover (the paste-over trunk cover being removed) This is an excellent peel job. At some point
someone tried to pull up the trunk cover which caused damage to three of the corners. There are restorations /
touch-ups to these areas. The area between John Lennon's legs at the very bottom of the cover has been
touched up (under the bench). In the top right corner of the cover above the song titles has been touched up
right down into the word "BIRD". The third area in the bottom right corner has had the most restoration. The
bottom of Ringo's legs and part of his white butcher coat next to his legs has had restoration. The digital camera
makes the restoration a little more obvious but to the naked eye it's not immediately noticeable. The top and
bottom seams of the cover seem mostly intact but it's hard to tell as they have been taped and I didn't want to try
and remove the tape for fear of causing more damage. The spine is split. The back cover has tape and some
writing. This is still a really nice displayable Butcher cover for the collector that doesn't want to pay big bucks.
The record comes with it although it's only in G condition. This is a west coast number 6 cover.
