Presented here is a ORIGINAL (not a reproduction) 1966 Yesterday & Today LP (Capitol T 2553). This is a third state Butcher Cover (the paste-over trunk cover being removed) This is a really excellent peel job. There are restorations / touch-ups to the cover to areas that were damaged before the peel. There is a 1 inch x 1/4 inch tear across John Lennon's chest (above the meat) that has been touched up. It's so well done that unless you know exactly where to look it's practically invisible. The cover has a tear through the front and back of the cover from the opening edge that goes right across Ringo to the bottom of his black V neck. The area has been re glued and touched up expertly from the V neck across the shoulder to the edge of the cover. There is also a discoloured section at the top of the cover above the song titles. This is the perfect butcher for the collector that wants a really excellent peel but doesn't want to pay really big bucks. All the seams have been taped and there is quite a bit of tape across the back cover. There is writing on the back cover and stains from old tape as well. The record comes with it although it's only in G condition. This is a west coast number 6 cover.
