A true original first-pressing stereo copy sealed in its original factory shrink wrap! The spine is marked "Stereo" on the top and has the famous 'dome' logo on the bottom, designating it as a first pressing.*
This is without a doubt one of the best conditioned Beatles albums that I have ever seen.
I personally believe that this is one of the best examples in existence today. But don't take my word, judge for yourself!
This album is a classic. While the film Magical Mystery Tour wasn't exactly critically acclaimed, its soundtrack, "Magical Mystery Tour," shot off the charts. Imagine being there right now, on December 8, 1967, holding a brand new cellophaned copy of the Beatles' latest LP in your hands, looking at the fantastically bizarre artwork. You're wondering just what they had cooked up this time, and running home to tear off the wrap and gaze at the gate-fold portrait...
This is an unbelievable copy in impeccable shape. Don't miss your shot at owning what could very well be one of the best examples in existence.

I have never graded something this high before. Personally, I believe that grades this high should be used only in cases when there are absolutely no alternatives. Simply put, this is THE ultimate collector's copy.The corners are all completely, perfectly sharp. There is virtually no wear whatsoever! The shrink wrap is 100% complete with not even a tiny sliver missing. The wrap on both sides is completely flat with not even a hint of wrinkling. There are two 'breathe holes' on the front (one is pictured). The spine is vividly white and perfectly square. The only things that I would like to point out are the lines on the shrink wrap on the back--which do not touch the album-- and an area of about 1/16 of an inch of mellowing on the bottom left corner (and an even small amount on the other corners). This mellowing looks dramatically better in person (a result of the lighting and camera). The corners are still very sharp, though, don't get me wrong. Overall, this album is probably the closest you could find to perfect!

*The sleeve is identical for both the original first pressing and the lime re-release, however, the heaviness and stockiness of this particular example gives about an extremely high (let's say 95%!) chance that it is in fact the first pressing on black colorband label. I don't know this for a fact, but I think the lime-releases are actually more scarce than the original, even though original copies are clearly more desired.- All items sold are shipped from Florida, USA.
