GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, COMPLETE AND IN SUPERB CONDITION.

This is an ORIGINAL 1963 scarce UK MONO Vinyl LP for The Beatles FIRST UK Album ‘PLEASE PLEASE ME’first released on the 22nd March1963, technically this rare variant is a FOURTH PRESSING, and is without the RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963 label text.

The album is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, but without **RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963** and is with ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.

Both record labels are in Excellent Plus condition, CLEAN labels, showing several centre spindle lines,and light wear to the centre spindle holes, the Silver and Yellow label text are clear and undamaged.

The Recording First Published 1963 label text is usually printed between the bracketed (XEX 422) and the record side number, (see scans)

Official side 1 matrix is XEX 421-1N/Side XEX 422-1N. Side 1 stampers: 1 MR, Side 2stampers: 4 MP. There is an early embossed **ZT** tax code visible to the centre of the side 2 record label.

Both sides of this heavy quality vinyl disc are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, with nothing more than a couple of light superficial surface hairlines on both sides, but no deep scratches or scuffs, superb glossy vinyl surfaces to both sides.

The album comes in its ORIGINAL Use Emitex Lined Printed Bag which is inExcellent condition, there are no seam splits or any damage.

The album extremely well through the tracks with NO skips, just mild background crackle, and a light click on Love Me Do, otherwise a great early mono sound quality.

The ERNEST J. DAY picture sleeve is an exceptional example in Excellent Plus condition. The front panel is clean, bright, and very glossy, with hardly any signs of record indentation, all that is visible are a couple of light manufacturing laminate pinches, and mild bumps to three of the corners. The spine edge and the two other edges are perfect, and the spine wording is clearly legible. The reverse panel of the sleeve is super clean and white with just light signs of handling at the gate edge, all three large flipbacksare in undamaged condition, at the top of the sleeve next to the catalogue number, there is the remains of a small sticker, (see scan).

This is a superb example of this 1963 EARLY RARE VARIANT Beatles Original MONO album, with a superb clean E.J. Day picture sleeve.
