Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Paul McCartney-"Jet"/"Mamunia" 45, Apple # 1871, released in 1974. This is the very scarce first pressing with the incorrect time of 2:49 listed for "Jet" (the song actually plays at the correct 4:09). Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG- to VG on the "Jet" side with several light, non-feelable marks. The "Mamunia" side is in VG+ condition; both sides have some what I can only describe as "cloudiness". The Apple sleeve is in VG condition with some wear along the top. The "Jet" label, in this case the rarest part of the 45, is in excellent shape with a little ring wear which can only be seen in a certain light. Very rare piece of Paul vinyl; Apple was notorious for its' label errors and this is probably the most desired and hardest to find of them all.
