Description
This is a legit Capitol Records promo 45 which I acquired from radio station WILI-AM in Willimantic, CT while attending college in that town in 1972. NOT one of those bootleg 45's.
The labels are in near mint condition-no markings - just very light surface wear
There are some surface scratches on the vinyl especially on the "B" side (Strawberry Fields Forever)-see image
I hate to let this go after owning it for 53 years.
BTW - I just walked into radio station WILI one afternoon, spoke to the program director and all I had to do was to trade new store bought stock 45's to exchange for several Beatles promo 45's the station had which included 'Penny Lane"
