THE BEATLES; ‘PLEASE PLEASE ME’ – ORIGINAL JAPAN 1ST APPLE ISSUE STEREO LP – AP 8675
In GORGEOUS condition, featured here is the **1st APPLE Issue** Japanese Stereo LP for ‘Please Please Me’. This LOVELY album which was issued in Japan in 1969, is on the Traditional Apple Label and comes in its original Black Inner Bag and is housed in an absolutely FABULOUS De-Luxe and Alternate GATEFOLD Sleeve incorporating an 8 page Colour Lyric booklet within the Gatefold. As you will see from the scans provided, the sleeve is totally UNIQUE and features a lovely colour image on the lads on the front of the sleeve and another totally unique image of The Beatles on stage on the reverse of the sleeve.
Now turning to the grading of this Rarity, both sides of the record labels and both sides of the vinyl disc are in SUPERB close to mint condition – STUNNING Bright and Unworn Record labels and a GLEAMING Vinyl Disc. The Gatefold Sleeve, front back and inside is also in fabulous condition and graded mint minus – there is no tearing or handwriting to any part of the sleeve or the lyric booklet, showing only some mild age tarnishing to the last couple of pages of the booklet within the Gatefold sleeve. The spine, edges and corners are in fine condition.
