Description
Please Please Me, Parlophone, PCS 3042.
Release April 26, 1963. "Gold" label STEREO! The Beatles first stereo release! It is not known as it has been much made copies of the first stereo press, but all copies have only two variants of codes of a stamp: 1G/1R or 1R/1G. Therefore the total of copies of the first stereo press could not be more than 600. First pressing! Co” uncorrect publishing credit for “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Misery”, “Do You Want To Know A Secret” & “There’s A Place”. With 33 1/3 on the label. Original Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated cover, with large “STEREO” on front. Polythene-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. Includes original Parlophone Catalogue for 1963. Matrix numbers and stampers: Side 1: XEX 94-1 1/R; Side 2: XEX 95-1 1/G. Excellent copy!
